Video consultation terms

A video consultation is a scheduled call with one of our vets at a time that you book. It is not a chat service and it is not available at all times. The vet gives advice from what you tell and show on camera.

Do not use a video consultation for an emergency. If your pet has difficulty breathing, collapses, bleeds heavily, has a seizure or ate poison, call us on +971 54 746 6650 or come to the clinic now. From 10pm to 10am, go to the nearest 24-hour emergency veterinary hospital. See Urgent care.

• The vet cannot touch, test or X-ray your pet on a call. Some problems need an examination in the clinic.
• The vet can tell you that your pet must come to the clinic. Then the clinic visit is a separate appointment with its own price.
• The vet gives a prescription only when the law allows it. Where UAE rules require an examination first, the vet must examine your pet in the clinic before a prescription.
• The vet can end the call if the problem needs urgent care in person.

• Give correct and full information about your pet, its health and its medicines.
• Use a device with a camera and a microphone, a good internet connection and a quiet place.
• Join on time. A late start does not make the call longer.
• Do not record the call without the agreement of the vet.

The call uses Google Meet. You join from the link in My Pet Avenue (Appointments). The vet can add notes about the consultation to your pet's medical record, as for a clinic visit. We do not record the video. Read our Privacy Policy.

The price shows when you book. During a promotion, the promotion terms also apply. You can change or cancel a video consultation free of charge. See our cancellation policy.
