A consultation is the start of most care. The vet examines your pet from nose to tail, listens to your questions and makes a care plan with you.
What it includes
- A full physical examination: eyes, ears, mouth, heart, lungs, skin, belly and weight.
- Time to talk about food, behaviour, parasites and vaccines.
- A clear plan: medicine, tests or a follow-up visit only when your pet needs them.
- Exotic pets too: tell us the type of pet when you book.
When to book
- Your pet is not eating, is sick, has diarrhoea, scratches or limps.
- You see a new lump, a change in weight or a change in behaviour.
- Your pet has not had a check-up for one year.
- You want a second opinion.
What to expect
- A visit takes about 30 minutes.
- Bring old medical records and the medicines your pet takes now.
- Bring cats in a carrier and dogs on a lead.
- The vet tells you the cost of tests or treatment before we do them.

Questions
Do I need an appointment?
No. Walk-ins are welcome every day from 10am to 10pm. An appointment gives you a fixed time, so you wait less.
Can I choose my vet?
Yes. When you book online you can choose a vet or take the first free time with any vet.
Do you see exotic pets?
Yes. Book an exotic pet consultation and tell us the type of pet, so the right vet is ready.
